University
with a double major in political science and music/theater, Sherry’s
career has included many areas of the music, entertainment, and
communications business. As a jingle writer and singer in the studios of
Nashville
in the early days, her career led to back-up singing with many country
artists both live and on recordings as well. Some of these include:
Charlie Daniels, Mickey Gilley, T.G. Shepherd, Larry Gatlin, and Lacy J.
Dalton. Sherry
is a graduate of the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater workshop in

Michael Stewart New Works Grant Awards. She continues to have high hopes
for what God may yet do with this musical project.
More recently, her writing and video producing skills expanded into the
formation of her own company, Pen Point Productions, in 2002.
She has continued the production of
commercial/marketing/documentary style pieces for clients like the
Nashville Symphony,
Tennessee
Performing
Arts
Center
, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and The United Way. A
former member of the
St. George’s
Choir, she has found home in St. Bartholomew Church and offers her
musical gifts in the St. Bartholomew's Canticorum Choir, as well as on the
regular Sunday Worship Teams. A student of both the piano and the
guitar, she is most at home worshipping the Lord through music and
delighted to be a part of this Women’s Retreat.
